Domino Racing has two options for racers needing quick turn throttles with one cable throttle systems. The increased throttle control housing and throttle tube pulley sizes allow for a much quicker rate of turn – now you can reach full throttle while dragging your knees in the corners! Both throttles have cast aluminum throttle housings with lightweight blue anodized aluminum bolts. Also included are Domino Racing MotoGP open ended grips.
If you need a two cable (push-pull) throttle system, check out our XM2 Racing Throttle!
Domino Racing Massimo Throttle
The Massimo Throttle is the quickest option. The quickness rate is 1.5⁰ of throttle tube rotation per mm of cable travel, with a maximum cable pull range of 66mm! The ulta-quick Massimo Throttle comes with a pair of gray/black Domino MotoGP Grips. A custom cable may be necessary for proper fitment by a factory trained technician. This throttle is for CLOSED COURSE COMPETITION USE ONLY – NOT FOR HIGHWAY USE!
Domino Racing Torcere Throttle
The Torcere Throttle is nearly as quick as the Massimo, but it has a longer pull range. The quickness rate is 1.8⁰ of throttle tube rotation per mm of cable travel, with a maximum cable pull range of 82mm! The Torcere Throttle comes with a pair of black/red Domino MotoGP Grips. A custom cable may be necessary for proper fitment by a factory trained technician. This throttle is for CLOSED COURSE COMPETITION USE ONLY – NOT FOR HIGHWAY USE!
Domino takes great pride in the development and production of its motorcycle controls. So much so that Domino is the OEM (stock) control system on more European motorcycles than any other brand! No corners are cut in material or procedure. No parts are outsourced. When you see the product – when you feel the product – when you use the product – you will understand and appreciate that behind each of their products stands the proud Italian craftsmen of Domino/Tommaselli SPA.
Please take some time to contemplate the differences of the many throttle controls. You will notice the following facts:
- Quickness: This is the degrees of throttle rotation required to move the cable 1mm distance. The lower the number of degrees required means the quicker throttle.
- Stroke: This the maximum distance of cable movement each throttle is capable.
- Cable: Confirms if throttle control is for one or two cable system.
- Misc: If grips are included, and if so, what grip type/style.
Quickness | Stroke | Cable | Misc | |
---|---|---|---|---|
Massimo | 1.5⁰ / mm | 66 mm | One cable | Open-end grips included |
Torcere | 1.8⁰ / mm | 82 mm | One cable | Open-end grips included |

I like the throttle housing, I have yet to install, but it was missing the adjustment screw that I believe should have come with the housing. I do understand that I need to purchase a throttle cable assembly kit but selling a housing with its own hardware is a bit cheap. Also those blue anodized bolts are made of swiss cheese aluminum. First, anodizing bolts look bad, and why pick such a soft metal? I immediately will be changing this to steel bolts. Those aluminum allen heads will strip in about a 1/2 second.
Hi Rick, sorry that you are unsatisfied with this throttle! It is designed to work with cables that thread into the housing. Due to liability concerns, Domino is moving away from offering throttles with adjusters – especially for street motorcycles! Regarding the aluminum bolts, this throttle is designed for road racing. To be as lightweight as possible, aluminum is used. These pinch bolts do not need to be very tight.
